Yarra Valley Adventure

When you start the day by putting your body through its paces, you deserve the afternoon off to relax. That’s how we do it on our Yarra Valley tours, at least, where a morning of physical exertion is always followed by an afternoon of great food and drink.

Work for that wine

First things first. 1000 steps. Walk it. Run it. Just get it done. It’s onto the bikes from there. Our ride along the purpose-built Yarra Valley bike trail takes us away from the traffic and plants us firmly amongst the trees. Then we park our rides and it’s time to relax, spending the afternoon kicking back at a selection of the best Yarra Valley wineries and/or breweries.

What to Bring:

Activewear and shoes you’ll be comfortable adventure trekking/biking in; change of clothes for the afternoon (optional); sunscreen, hat and sunglasses; snacks and water; extra money for purchasing a bottle or two of the local tipple for you to call your own

Meeting Point:

We'll pick you up from your accommodation if you are staying in Melbourne CBD or St Kilda. If you are staying elsewhere, we'll meet you outside St Paul’s Cathedral, corner of Swanston & Flinders Streets, Melbourne (opposite Federation Square and Flinders Street Train Station)

Times:

Time to step up

We pick you and your fellow TripFitters up in Melbourne city, then hit the road for the 1000 steps – one of the top things to do in Melbourne if fitness is your forte. Don’t count them, just conquer them. If you do it fast enough, the TripFit record could be yours. While we’re in the area, we’ll give you a rundown of its unique history. We like to keep you mentally fit, too.

From the highest highs we hit the lowest lows, geographically speaking of course, as we travel from the mountains to the valley. Here, we pick up our bikes for a ride along the purpose-built bike trail. Take it from us, your eyes will be working just as hard as your legs to take in the stunning surrounds.

With the hard yards done and dusted, it’s time to treat yourself. And when you’re surrounded by some of the best food, wine and scenery in Victoria, it’s not like you need an excuse to indulge.
