Mornington Peninsula Adventure Challenge (Self-Drive)BOOK NOW
Remember when you were a kid and your parents would take you to do cool stuff on the weekend. Here’s your chance to be a kid again and do a full day of fun activities as a grown up and right on Melbourne’s doorstep.
The Mornington Peninsula Adventure Challenge is a day of grown-up adventure fun, with three outdoor activities to put a big fat smile on your face. Start the day with a beautiful coastal hike. Then take on a purpose-built obstacle course. Finish with kayaking or stand-up-paddleboarding in a pristine, tranquil bay.
Suitable for singles, couples or groups. Total group size will be no more than 12 and this activity has a big focus on group bonding. If you’re on your own or if you’re keen to meet new friends, we’ll make sure you get to know your fellow adventurers
All activities take place on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. This is a self-drive activity – we’ll meet you on the peninsula and you’ll need to drive short distances between activities
All activities are included in the price and lunch is available for purchase at a local cafe (or you can bring your own)
Participate at leisure or compete for the TripFit record!

What to Bring:
Activewear and shoes you’ll be comfortable adventuring in; swimwear and a small towel in case you get wet; warmer/cooler clothes to change into (this is Melbourne, after all); sunscreen, hat and sunglasses; snacks and water; extra money for purchasing food and drink
Mornington Peninsula - exact location to be confirmed on booking.
Note: unlike our other adventures this is a self-drive activity - we'll meet you on the peninsula and you'll need to drive short distances between activities
We will meet at around 9am and usually finish at around 3pm.
Ease into adventure mode with a coastal hike at the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula. We’ll take it nice and easy, covering around 5kms of gentle terrain while taking in the stunning views. There’s a deserted beach along our route which is a great place to get a few insta-worthy snaps.
The hike is a great way to start the day and also a good opportunity to get to know your fellow Tripfitters!
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first timer, a lap around our obstacle course will probably be the highlight of your day. Consisting of 30+ military style obstacles over 3kms, this will be a great challenge as well as heaps of fun. You can go it alone or against a friend to compete for the TripFit record, or we can help you through it – nobody gets left behind.
After lunch we head to the bay for some water activities to finish off the day. Choose your vessel – either a kayak or a stand-up-paddle board – and explore the tranquil, clear waters of the Mornington Peninsula. We often see dolphins so keep your eyes open and you might see one of these beautiful creatures swimming beside you.
If you’re looking for relaxing things to do in Melbourne, you’ve come to the wrong place. From coastal hiking to mountain biking, and sea kayaking to finish off the day, Mornington Peninsula Coastal Active Adventures pack more punch than a Schwarzenegger film.
