The best of Melbourne

Think of our Melbourne tour like a yum cha lunch – the best adventures in the world’s most liveable city served to you on a silver platter. Be warned though, once you get a taste for Melbourne, you’ll keep coming back for more.

Beaches, bikes and beer

We won’t venture far, nor will we venture wide – in Melbourne, we don’t need to. With the beach less than 4km from Melbourne CBD, and awesome parks and gardens a stone’s throw from there, less time on the road means more time biking, stand up paddling and getting familiar with some local craft beers.

Activities:

Biking, stand up paddling, beer tasting/drinking

Fitness Level:

We cater to all fitness levels. If you're a fitness newbie, or if you don't get much time to work-out, we'll inspire you. If you're a fitness nut, we'll challenge you.

Inclusions:

Bike and safety equipment hire; stand-up paddleboard hire; beer tasting platter; friendly and knowledgeable adventure tour guide; a greater appreciation for the best city in the world

What to Bring:

Activewear and shoes you’ll be comfortable biking in; swimwear and a small towel (in case stand up paddling turns into doggy paddling); sunscreen, hat and sunglasses; snacks; extra money for food and drinks. You have the option to safely store a bag with us during the bike ride so you don't have to carry all your stuff.

Meeting Point:

We'll meet you in Port Melbourne or in St Kilda:
- Our Port Melbourne meeting spot is at the Beacon Cove Light Rail stop. The get here, take the 109 light rail (aka tram) from the city towards Port Melbourne. Beacon Cove is the final stop. This is the best meeting spot if you're coming from the city or Southbank.
- Our St Kilda meeting spot is on Beaconsfield Parade, outside the West Beach Bathers Pavilion (not far from the end of Fitzroy St).

Times:

Meet at Port Melbourne at 9:40am or St Kilda at 10am. Tour finishes at around 4:30pm

Itinerary

On your bike

We’ll meet you in Port Melbourne or St Kilda and we’ll get you set up on your bike. Our first stop is Albert Park, home of the F1 Grand Prix, for a lap around the lake. From there we’ll continue our tour of the best parks and gardens in Melbourne, including the MCG, the Botanical Gardens and Melbourne Park.

Itinerary

Get your sea legs

After a stop at one of our favorite Melbourne lunch spots, we head to the beach. Our exact location depends on the wind and the tides, because stand up paddling is on the cards. New to SUP? We all were once. We’ll give you some pointers to find your sea legs.

Itinerary

Beer o’clock

That’s your exercise done for the day, so now it’s time to relax and drink some tasty, tasty beer. We’ll take you to our favourite local brewery where you can sample some of the finest craft beer on offer while chatting to your fellow travellers. It might be the end of this adventure, but it could be the start of a brand new friendship.
